We hope 2026 brings you joy, good health, and plenty of wagging tails. As we step into the new year, we’re excited to let you know that our kennels are open and ready to welcome your furry family members.

We look forward to caring for your pets this year and making their stay with us a happy one.

Vaccinations
Your pet(s) must be up to date with their 5-in-1 vaccinations, Deworming, Tick & Flea, Rabies protocols, and Kennel Cough vaccination.

Animal Think Tank cc requires that Rabies inoculations must be completed every year and Kennel Cough vaccinations must be completed annually.  If there is a medical reason why your dog cannot be vaccinated, a veterinary certificate is required.

We care about every single thing that we do. We treat your pets as if they are our own, and we love our pets very very much.

Whether we are training your pet, grooming your pet, or if your pet is on holiday with us, they will be in the best possible hands.

We’ve created a loving place with your pets’ wants and needs in mind. We offer everything your furry family member requires with Puppy & Dog Training - Dog, Cat, Rabbit & Bird Boarding - Daycare - Grooming - Grooming School.

Use our webcams to watch them play all day with their BFFFs (best furry friends forever) in open and safe environments. Professionally trained kennel hands will love and care for your pup like they are our own.

You can trust your dog will come home overjoyed – and most likely overtired – from all of the excitement of the day.

Daycare

Daycare at Animal Think Tank offers plenty for your dogs to do during the day to prevent some of the fun and not so fun things they get up to during the day when they are bored or lonely.

We have large runs and areas for the dogs to stay and play and each dog gets to have a personal fun training session with our qualified staff. We prefer our dogs to be socialized so they can have fun with the other dogs, however if this is not the case then we have professional behaviourists on hand to assist with socialization or any other problems the owners would like to have addressed.

We can accommodate all breeds of dogs.

Boarding

Animal Think Tank offers elite boarding for dogs, cats, rabbits and birds. We have large runs and areas for the dogs to stay and play and each dog gets to have a personal fun training session with our qualified staff.

We can accommodate all breeds of dogs. The cats each have their own runs with a garden set in a peaceful quiet area away from the dogs, and a dedicated kennel hand to spend time with each cat every day.

Our rabbits can be accommodated either in an inside run or their own dedicated hutch area on fresh grass. We have an indoor aviary for our birds with lots of room for the bigger birds to move around in.

Grooming

Grooming is carried out at our Animal Care Centre on Sangster Rd near Fourways or at your own home. We have 3 qualified and certified groomers with at least 25 years experience. We are able to do all breed cuts for both dogs and cats and the occasional bunny.

The grooming area is set apart from the rest of the kennels and in close proximity to our Coffee Shop where you can wait for your pets whilst they are being groomed. If the pets need to stay with us for longer after their groom they can be accommodated in our kennel area for the day.
